What kinda pissed me off about the Rumble was seeing Jericho go in there and wrestle like he was one of the random one off legends and hadn't made this grand return. Just...what the fuck.

Yeah, that’s what I mean really.

It didn’t piss me off, but I am disappointed. I’ve been defending this weird shtick he’s been pulling since January 2nd but this just felt strange. I really wanted there to be some weight behind everything he’s said (in the video packages and last week). I WANTED IT TO BE THE END OF THE WORLD. That doesn’t mean he had to win necessarily, but I wanted him to do something.

I’m optimistic though. There’s still time. He knows what he’s doing, right?

I think the problem is you always expect lame guys in the middle and you were expecting bigger names to come out and they didn’t. Except for Orton and Jericho. #30 was terrible. I liked the finish though and Jericho and Sheamus did well together.

I was expecting Jericho last so when he came out at #29 I thought someone BIG (not in the literal sense tho) was going to be #30 and when Show’s music hit it was EXTREEEMELY disappointing.

And yeah, when I say I found the finish underwhelming, I just meant the fact that Sheamus won. The actual last 5 - 10 minutes of the match I thought were really great and intense and very well executed by both Sheamus and Jericho and I don’t understand why people were upset with it?

Fun Fact That I Don’t Think I’ve Ever Really Mentioned Because I Know Everyone Else Likes Him: I am not a fan of Sheamus!

I thought that was a bit of an underwhelming finish, but I’m not sure if it’s because it wasn’t built up properly or just because I don’t like him, so I’m not going to get too upset about it. Getting angry because your favourite didn’t win the match means you are missing the point. I think he will still have what could be a great match at ‘Mania, probably with Bryan, and I’m okay with that.

It was still (for the most part) a fun, decent Rumble and I got to see Mick Foley AND KHARMA so really, who cares?

I will admit that I’m a bit disappointed about Jericho though. I know there is still time, but I was really hoping they’d shed some light on his character tonight. Like, why was he silent for so long? Why did he finally break the silence last week to allude to something ~big~ happening at the Rumble if nothing ended up happening? WHAT ARE YOU DOING, CHRIS?

Anyway, Ziggler was A+ tonight as he is every night and whoever thought it was a good idea to put Big Show in at number 30 should be fired.

THAT’S ALL
