The AJ/Punk/Bryan/Kane story line totally reminds me of True Blood. Kane, as Eric, since he’s feared but we all know deep down inside, he’s got a soft spot.  Daniel, as Beel, since he’s the douchebag Ex people love to hate, and no matter what, he’s AJ’s first love, who she’ll never ‘get over.’ Punk, as Alcide, cause he’s the good guy that’ll protect you. And AJ, as Sookie, because her trance is basically like Sookie’s fairy vagina/blood, and everyone seems to want or have that shit.  Amazing

I don’t think y’all understand how stoked I am to finally be able to watch this in full. I’m so excited about the new NXT. If you haven’t seen it yet, DO SO RIGHT NOW. Trust me. You won’t regret it.  I’ve been looking for something to get me ‘back into wrestling’, and I think I’ve found that something. Last week’s inaugural episode of the new NXT felt fresh and different and unique and I managed to sit through the entire episode without fast fowarding a single thing (RAW Recap excluded). I don’t remember the last Raw or Smackdown I can say the same thing about.  I’m still not sure if my undying love for Husky makes me biased, but Bray Wyatt just gets better and better. I can’t fucking wait to see him debut in the coming weeks. I don’t know much about a lot of the other wrestlers who featured in the first episode, but I was impressed by all of them. I’ve seen nothing of Conor O’Brian’s work bar his weird I’m-a-rat-shtick from NXT4 (which I hated), but he and Kenneth Cameron look fucking badass as The Ascension.  I think Dusty makes a great General Manager and the combination on commentary of J.R. and William Regal is absolute nirvana after two hours of Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler shitting in your ears. This is the perfect platform to usher in a new era of wrestling. I get to see some of the performers who I already know are great (Bray Wyatt/Antonio Cesaro/Kassius Ohno/Paige/Dean Ambrose (eventually?)/etc.) in all their glory, while simultaneously witnessing the greatness of others for the very first time, all without the pressure that comes with competing for air time with the top-tier guys on Mondays/Fridays. It’s an exciting time to be a mainstream wrestling fan.  Anyway, if you’re in the market for something new and want legitimately interesting and unique characters with huge amounts of potential, tune in next week. Make this show a success, if not for the sake of your favourite underrated WWE employee, at the very least for me and my desire to continue fapping to Husky in HD.

Triple H vs. The Undertaker.

On paper is not a match I want to see again. I loved it the first time but dudes are ooooooooooooooooooooold.

But DAYUM, that whole thing last night was awesome. Like, the best thing on RAW since the last Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker segment which was almost a year ago.

It got better with every thing they said, I just got more and more interested.

Weird to think it was on the same show as so much nonsense.

As lame as it sounds on paper, I don’t actually have a problem with Hunter/Taker III happening. There isn’t much else they could have done that would have been any better, you know? Everyone else seems to be involved in their own feuds, and I can’t think of anyone who ‘Taker hasn’t already faced who could conceivably pose as a threat to the streak

It was different even a couple of years back when ‘Taker was working a busier schedule and could take the time to build up credible opponents, but now that he is only working the one time every year, it is much harder to create an interesting feud. Hunter is the easiest choice because they have a year’s worth (and more) of drama to build from. If they keep on this track, it’s set to be a great feud and hopefully a great ‘Mania match.
